Most downtown areas might be described as gray, colorless, and devoid of greenery. My new series of photography is intended to defy that notion of Downtown Los Angeles by showing colorful images of blooms in the Arts District that I discover daily; many surrounded by brightly painted walls adorned by street art. Also on view will be new selections from my book MUSE-ings: Snapshots of the Arts District, Downtown Los Angeles.
