THREE NEW LIMITED-RELEASE BEERS TONIGHT!
Magic Napper Scottish Style Ale (8.2%): Made with all British ingredients, the malt bill is a blend of pale, brown and caramel. This brew undergoes an extended boil to intensify the caramel aspects of the ale. The mix of sugars create a robust sweet malty base that is balanced by copious additions of East Kent Goldings hops to create a smooth and pleasant bitterness with soft marmalade notes.
Personal Assistant Pale Ale (6%): A hybrid ale, part hoppy American pale ale and part Belgian golden ale. Even the hops are hybrids, part American and part European, lending a nice mix of floral, spice and fruity flavors and aromas. Copper in color, this ale is simple and straight forward yet still has a subtle complexity.
Submission Belgian Golden Strong (8.6%): Belgian inspired ale brewed with classic Belgian ingredients, star jasmine flower and carrot blossom honey. The honey lends rich notes of cedar that creates an intriguing blend of aromatics with the Belgian yeast and Jasmine.
ALSO ON TAP TONIGHT
Ingenue Belgian White Ale (4.8%): This blonde ale is inspired by working-class ales of Hainaut, Belgium. It is a white beer made of Belgian pilsner malt, white winter wheat, rolled oats, and lightly hopped with imported Czech Saaz (which is a “noble” variety of hops named after the Czech city of Žatec, which in German is Saaz). It is then brewed with extremely soft water to create a feeling in your mouth that matches the effects of the oats. The Ingenue is full of sweet bready notes with a nice creamy body, yet it finishes clean and dry.
Limelight IPA (7%): This classic robust IPA is made with a blend of Citra, Amarillo, and Mosaic hops. It has hoppy notes of guava, stone fruit, and grapefruit that are balanced with malty caramel tones and a solid, yet clean bitterness. The Limelight IPA is a big beer with big flavor.
Nosejob IPA (6.8%): A West Coast classic, this IPA is deep gold in color and brimming with a mix of citrus, tropical fruit, and piney hoppiness. The nose is a blend of sweet citrus mixed with deep fruity notes. The Nosejob IPA is hoppy up front, but finishes with a nice balance of light malt sweetness and a clean solid bittering.
FUTURE BREWS
After Hours (5.4%): This session stout ale is a black brew that exudes rich notes of chocolate blended with fresh roasted coffee. Its substantial body is full of roasted notes and deep caramel tones creating a complex blend of malts. A generous helping of rolled oats lends to a velveteen texture and East Kent Golding hops provide balance.
B-Side Red Stout (6.8%): This California version of an Irish Red Ale is a hoppy red ale with a great malt backbone. A blend of pale, crystal, munich and chocolate malts create a rich character to hold up the heaping helpings of Citra and Amarillo hops. Both kettle and dry-hopped, this red stout has most of its roots deep in the hop fields, but just enough malty flavor to make one wonder if it is related to a stout.
Eastside Hopster (8.4%):Double IPAs can be tough as a quality drinking experience can be hampered by too much alcohol or too much hop bittering. Boomtown is simple with its edition: Pilsner malt, bittering hops, and dry hops. A complex blend of aggressive northwestern American hops creates a heavy hop oil aroma, which prepares the palate for the firm, yet smooth hop flavor and bitter qualities to come. Sweet grassy grain notes from the Pilsner malt are a simple background for solid Columbus hop bitter. These malt background notes, along with a warm alcohol finish, are just enough to support the hops for a mouth-watering experience.
