TALK “Women Who Dare” in 1st Floor Gallery of HPL’s Central Library

APRIL 27, 2024 at 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM: Artist Lynn Randolph discusses how the Women’s Caucus of Art came to Houston and the impact it had on her art career at HPL’s Central Library in the 1st Floor Gallery.

EXHIBIT ON VIEW MARCH 2 – MAY 29, 2024: In honor of Women’s History Month, the Women’s Caucus of Art–Texas presents a diverse range of artwork by 35 member artists in “Women Who Dare,” an exhibition in the 1st Floor Gallery at Houston Public Library’s Central Library (Jesse H. Jones Building).

“Women Who Dare” aims to inspire and empower other women to push boundaries, break stereotypes, and pursue their ambitions. The exhibition serves as a recognition of the fearlessness, resilience, and determination of women in their pursuit of success and equality while it presents interpretations of the theme that vary from the personal to the historic, and examine women’s place in our society past and present.

LIBRARY HOURS: Monday 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM; Tuesday–Thursday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (closed Sunday)
