Known for his quantum-physics inspired images, David Reinfeld presents new work that explores the urban dimension of life, traversing the architectural monuments of mankind and the moments of connection within.

“Fernanda Caballero: The Way the Wind Blows” on view thru December 15, 2023 at Barbara Davis Gallery (4411 Montrose Blvd., Ste. D, Houston 77006). Fernanda Caballero‘s life-sized canvases soak in every quick brush. Full-body gestures mix with sensitive details to form the fluid and thoughtful compositions.

“Cielo Azul / Cielo Nublado” on view thru January 27, 2024 at Art is Bond Gallery (4411 Montrose Blvd., Ste. E, Houston 77006). Poignant visual memoir strings together the annual visits that photographer Troy Ezequiel Montes makes to his family’s pueblito in Zacatecas, México.

“Jason Stopa: DIY Paradise” on view thru February 24, 2024 at Assembly Art (4411 Montrose Blvd, Ste. F, Houston 77006). This site-specific installation brings together Jason Stopa’s large-scale paintings with a unique wall painting, works on paper, and the artist’s first-ever sculptural works.
