ON VIEW THRU SEPTEMBER 3, 2023: Works by Ian Gerson, Dani Levine, Virginia L. Montgomery, Kate Mulholland, and The Center for Imaginative Cartography and Research in the “Currents” exhibition mediate, respond, and give voice to these currents.

Situated across the street from an electrical substation, this exhibition provides a corollary to the constant electric flow of the gallery’s neighbor. Each type of substation — transmission, distribution, collector, converter — attends to the current, this bit of essential infrastructure animating and facilitating our contemporary condition.
