As a French citizen, Texas and its legends have always been a fantasy of mine, which was nourished by western movies when I was a kid, my first trips to the U.S. National Parks, and more recently, by reading the works of Larry McMurtry. Since arriving in Houston in 2015, I have had many opportunities to discover the “real” Wild Wild West, enjoying breathtaking landscapes from Palo Duro Canyon to the Rio Grande, meeting with cowboys and cowgirls on horses and Harley Davidson motorcycles, listening to rattlesnakes, and of course, shooting! These photographs represent a deep dive into my world and I am looking forward to sharing the hidden stories behind all of them.

Sharing my designs and creativity with others is my main motivation. I am a Belgium citizen who has traveled all over the world and has now been living in Houston since 2021. I am an architect, painter and printmaker, whose creativity has been nourished by all the various experiences that my expat life had to offer. My artistic production — which I associate with geometric shapes — is influenced by my architect background and reflects my deep feelings about Texas and my host city Houston.
