I am MUSED.
Join curator Sophie Asakura for a discussion of works in this exhibition followed by a documentary screening of “Nestor Topchy: Houston’s Phoenix.” The 20-minute film by Cressandra Thibodeaux begins in 1986 and spans 30 years, highlighting important ways that Topchy influenced Houston’s art community. Most of the never-seen-before archival footage was shot by artist Jim Pirtle (who also owns Notsuoh) and includes additional segments from the Aurora Picture Show/Andy Mann Archive.
ARRIVE EARLY as seating is limited and no reservations are taken.
