HAPPENING ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2023 at 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM ONLY: Enjoy this lively family-friendly festival featuring new temporary sculptures by six Houston Latinx artists — large-scale, fantastical figures inspired by the Mexican folk art tradition of alebrijes on view in the Cullen Sculpture Garden.

Enjoy live music, dance performances, and art-making activities on the Brown Foundation, Inc. Plaza. Play a lotería game with cards featuring MFAH works of art, and watch film screenings provided by the Houston Latino Film Festival.

The Fall Festival celebrates the MFAH’s commitment to Latin American and Latino art, and art of the Indigenous Americas. Visitors can explore the galleries to see these works and all the art on view, which spans 5,000 years and seven continents.
