ON VIEW THRU OCTOBER 21, 2023: Randy Twaddle finds beauty in simplicity. He is an artist with the soul of a designer – his work is tasteful, clean and understated. His latest charcoal works on paper are evidently influenced by living on site at The John Fairey Garden where he has served as the nonprofit’s executive director for the past few years. With 39 acres near Hempstead, Texas (about an hour outside of Houston), the preservation garden is widely acclaimed for the originality of its design, its education and conservation programs, and its exceptional collection of over 3,000 plants, including many endangered and rare plants from Mexico, North America, and Asia.
