ART EVENT “Art As Activision: Reproductive & Environmental Justice” at POST Houston

FRIDAY, JUNE 21, 2024 at 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM: Artworks by artists Zsavon Butler, Dakota Cooley, and Asenette Ruiz that address reproductive justice and environmental justice are on view in this one-night event “Art as Activism” at POST Houston.

Presented in partnership by CEER (Coalition for Environment, Equity, and Resilience) and Houston Climate Justice Museum with funding by Air Alliance Houston, this free event also includes an opportunity to buy art from local artists and to receive a FREE print of one of the three art pieces, while supplies last. Meet the artists and learn about their pieces.

5:30 PM to 6:30 PM: Opening Social Hour (Mocktails, Music, Art Viewing, Tabling)

6:30 PM to 6:50 PM: Welcome and Artist Spotlights (Learn about the project initiative and hear from each artist about their piece.)

6:50 PM to 7:00 PM: Art Giveaway (Free high-quality art print, while supplies last)

7:00 PM to 8:00 PM: Closing Social Hour (Mocktails, Music, Art Viewing, Tabling)
