ON VIEW THRU MAY 2024: Commissioned by the Moody Center for the Arts, four large-scale outdoor works by Devin Kenny, Preetika Rajgariah, Kenneth Tam, and Sarah Welch are on view that respond to the communities, histories, and environments that bridge the campus and the Houston community.
Launched in 2020, the “Tent Series” is an initiative that invites Houston-based or connected artists to install temporary public art pieces on Rice University’s Provisional Campus Facilities. The four semi-permanent structures are located across Robert R. Herring Hall on Loop Road near the corner of College Way and Alumni Drive on the campus of Rice University.
Launched in 2017, the “Platform Series” invites contemporary artists to respond to art, architecture, and research at Rice University.
