WED 03-27-2024 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM “Americanism | The Archetype of Modern Man” at Steinway Selection Center: A classical music concert with a philosophical narrative that weaves American mythology and traits of the American persona, pianist and writer Elizabeth Newkirk takes center stage with solo piano works by composers George Gershwin and William Grant Still and a world premiere by composer Stephen Webb.

Musicians, artists, and philosophers contemplate the human condition in modernity in a four-part, multi-disciplinary series commissioned by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany Houston in partnership with Steinway & Sons of Houston.
