Not going to Coachella this weekend? No problem! There’s LOTS to eat, see and do this weekend #JustOff5th in the DTLA Arts District! Below is a listing I’ve gathered for you to enjoy three days of fun in the central Arts District! Get “real-time” updates by clicking on #JustOff5th posts on Instagram and Twitter!
Kick off your weekend on Friday, April 15 @ 4-8pm by joining me aka @DowntownMuse and my business partner Edgar Varela of @WeAreDTLA as we help welcome Cleveland Art into their new, expanded space at 451 Colyton St., just one block west of Urth Caffe. Based in Cleveland but here for the Open House Weekend, come over to meet designer/maker/owner Jason Wein! There’s even a new retail store opening up inside Cleveland Art => Whiskey Grade, and they’ve invited the East Side Moto Babes to ride over. Need any more enticement? We’ll have food and drink by local businesses such as homemade mini-pies by The Pie Hole (three flavors: Salted Caramel Pecan, Mom’s Apple Crumble, and Mexican Chocolate), Cold Brew Coffee with Almondmilk by Califia Farms, and handcrafted beef jerky by People’s Choice, a family business based in Downtown Los Angeles since 1929! Be sure to RSVP to this private party, so you can enjoy locally brewed suds by Boomtown Brewery, too (you must be over 21 AND have your name on the guest list).
Say “hello” to me on Friday night to receive your exclusive @DowntownMuse walking tour curated just for the evening PLUS an updated list of retailers, eateries, hangouts, and special events taking place during April 15-17, 2016.
