Tis the season to be jolly! Grab your antlers and your finest holiday sweater as The LOFT Ensemble cordially invites you to the Arts District for a family dinner with the Murphys and a night of arguments, booze, secrets, candy canes, mistletoe, and overall holiday chaos. The Murphys are sure to deck the halls in laughter as they discover the true meaning of family. Written and directed by Alex Fream and April Morrow, this world-premiere farce is sure to have you tangled in the tinsel! What does a Christmas show look like in the Arts District? “Christimas is Dead” answers that question as a comedy full of farce with a family where everybody is just a little bit crazy. (NOTE: The show contains some strong language and adult situations that may not be suitable for kids.)
During Saturday, November 14, 2015 through Sunday, December 20, 2015, performances take place in the Arts District on Saturdays (8pm) and Sundays (7pm). NOTE: There are no performances during Thanksgiving weekend of November 28-29. Tickets are $20. Purchase or reserve tickets at www.loftensemble.org or (213) 680-0392.
