Arts District residents Donna and Dan Evans traversed the state of California to take images of people and places found on various “Wall Streets” in California — not the “Wall Street” that is so often the stand-in for the American financial industry, but the actual stretches of pavement where people live, work and dream. Here’s more information about their project from a recent Los Angeles Times article.
Check out their compelling photographs TONIGHT (and buy a few to take home!) at the Geo Gallery in Glendale (1545 Victory Blvd.) from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. RSVP on Facebook HERE
Proceeds from sales of their photographs benefit breast cancer research. They are also hosting an opportunity drawing for attendees to win photographs, movie tickets, and more. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.
If you can’t attend, visit their online gallery HERE to view and purchase photographs. If you wish to make a donation to the Avon Breast Cancer Walk, visit Dan’s page HERE or Donna’s page HERE.
