Proceeds benefit local and international service projects of Rotary DTLA. Recent projects included providing clean water, handwashing stations, and latrines to 1,500 students and their families at four schools and a clinic in Kenya; support of a community garden in Watts; and dictionaries for local schools. In addition to ticket sales, sponsors ensure the success of this event. Rotary DTLA thanks its sponsors Century Housing Corporation; Loftway; Downtown News; and RESIDENT. Through @DowntownMuse, I’m providing support for the tour through my social media channels AND I’m opening up my loft for attendees, too.
The self-guided tour starts at Art Share L.A. (801 E. 4th Pl., Los Angeles, CA 90013). Free parking for ticketholders is available at 321 S. Hewitt St., Los Angeles, CA 90013 across the street. Attendees are also encouraged to take public transportation. Take Metro’s Gold Line to Little Tokyo/Arts District Station and walk just a few blocks to Art Share L.A. (directions/map posted HERE).
